The best place to get your dog/cat groomed, stay the day for daycare or board while you’re out of town! Our grooming services range from giving your pup a bath, full haircuts, breed specific haircuts, walk in nail cuts and we can even paint your pups nails! When your pup comes in for daycare we can have them play with a small group of friends where they can run around, play with toys and even swim in our kiddy pool! If your pup isn’t the biggest fan of other dogs we definitely make sure they have a fun dog free day as well. We can bring them outside and play with them one on one!

Dogs: $39/day(10% discount for multiple)
Small Animals/Cats: $23/day(10% discount for multiples
When boarding your dog they will stay in their own 24ft by 5ft runs where you can fill the space with their own beds, blankets and toys or we can provide them with our own! Cats have their own quiet room separate from the dogs where they will feel safe in their own cat condo that you can fill with their beds, toys and blankets or we can provide our own!
Bring their own food and treats please!
Daycare
Doggy Daycare: $37 per day 10% Discount for 3+ days a week
For those pooches who need to exercise their legs or if you have a busy day at home, Book an appointment for daycare starting any time after 7am until 5:50pm
Daycare dogs get an hour of play time outside in our large grassy play area. Bring their favorite toy or give us permission to bring other dogs out for playtime together
Only dogs who are dog friendly get doggie companions at play time

Meet Our Team
Johanna DuWaldt-Coutu
Manager
I have worked with dogs for 40 years. I started in 4H with a mixed breed while participating in obedience and handling. At age 14, I got my first Siberian Husky. I attended Canisius College in Buffalo NY where I received a degree in Sociology/Anthropology. After college I decided I really wanted to get back into dogs. I worked as an assistant and then a full time professional dog handler showing dogs to their championships across Canada and US. After splitting up with my handling partner I moved to New England where I worked as a kennel technician in a boarding kennel. During this time I met my husband to be and eventually moved to RI where we purchased and upgraded what is now Colonial Kennel. I am still an active breeder of Siberian Huskies, having bred many champions and have had the privilege to co-own 3 beautiful BEST IN SHOW and National award winners.

Owner
A life long resident of Burrillville I met my wife through mutual dog friends. Having spent my life in construction I purchased and refurbished what is now Colonial Kennel! My wife is a respected Siberian Husky breeder and I am an avid field trail participant and Judge. We have bred and owned several champion/master hunter Chesapeake Bay retrievers. In addition we have also owned several Field Trail and Amateur Field Champions Chesapeake and Labrador Retrievers.
